The Doctor has been in the news for a for Buttocks enlargement surgery, Dr. Anu, owner of cosmetic surgery outfit in Lagos, MedContour has been arrested and charged to court by the Federal Government over alleged failed botched surgery.

This was made known by federal competition & consumer protection Commission (FCCPC) via their official twitter handle.



The Doctor in the person of Dr. Anu is being accused of carrying out a botched cosmetic surgery that led to the death of one Mrs. Nneka Miriam Barbra Onwuzuligbo among other allegations.

There have been complaints over time from alleged botched surgeries. It would be recalled that the clinic was sealed by Federal Competitive and Consumer Protective Commission (FCCPC) in May over alleged lack of professionalism and competence.

This occurred following a complaint from Omohtee, a social media influencer about a daily cosmetic surgery that almost took her life.

This has now led to the arrest and prosecution of the Doctor Anu in which FCCPC is the prosecutor in the case.

According to the tweet,
