Agency Report
Jose Mourinho, Silvio Louro, Chelsea
and West Ham have all been charged by
the Football Association in the wake of
Saturday’s London derby.
The Chelsea manager’s charge is “in
relation to his language and/or
behaviour towards the match officials
in or around the dressing room area at
half-time.â€
Mourinho was sent to the stands
after a half-time altercation with
referee Jon Moss, who sent off
Nemanja Matic in the 44th minute
and then dismissed Chelsea coach
Louro for his reaction to the red
card.
Mourinho was only this month fined
£50,000 and given a suspended
stadium ban by the FA, although the
latest misconduct charge is not for
the same offence of criticising
referees.
Louro’s red-card offence means he is
also on an FA charge along with both
clubs, who are accused of failing to
control their players in the
aftermath of the Matic sending-off.
All parties have until 6pm on
Thursday to respond.
