Joe Hart insists that
Manchester City team-mate
Sergio Aguero trumps Lionel
Messiand Cristiano Ronaldo as
the toughest goalscorer he
has ever faced.

Hart was widely praised even as City exited the Champions League against a Messi- inspired Barcelona earlier this month after pulling off a series of magnificent saves to keep the Argentine superstar and his team-mates at bay.

But the 27-year-old, who has
also faced reigning Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo in Europe’s elite club competition, is adamant that he regards Aguero as a more difficult opponent than the superstar duo.

When asked to name the
toughest goalscorer he has
faced, Hart replied: ¡°Just from
working with him on a daily basis and from what I¡¯ve seen this season, probably Aguero. He just knows how to score.

¡°In training he particularly
excites you most days. A long
clearance could turn into a goal because he¡¯s got that ability to take it round five people and score. Sergio is a very natural player.

I¡¯m backing Sergio because
he is my player. But Messi is a
phenomenal player. He¡¯s definitely one of the best players I¡¯ve ever played against.
