Following the outcome of the recent convocation ceremony of the international vocational, technical and Entrepreneurship college IVTEC Ajase-Ipo, Kwara State ratifying the request of Governor Abdulrahmam Abdulrasaq administration for Kwara State to continue his good work in the state.

IVTEC ALUMNI members grace the occasion at the college in Ajase-ipo, Kwara State, disclosed that this administration is working to get Kwara State youths out of unemployment listed among the other State in an unemployment producing States as a status of increase in job opportunity was a tough exercise in the country.

The Pro-tem President thank God that the untiring efforts yielded the desired result, saying that “As the Ivtec produce job creators, I am happy that Kwara State is experienced the good will. the youths will be Self-reliance through vocational and Entrepreneurship knowledge with the disbursement of start-up package to about 400 students across the 16 local governments of the state.”

Speaking on behalf of the international vocational, technical and Entrepreneurship college Alumni Association (Ivtec Alumni) Ajase-Ipo, Kwara State, the President of the association, Qs.Saliman Ahmed commended Governor Abdulrahmam Abdulrasaq for his good works in Kwara State in general and the College in particular.

Mrs Ishaq Lateefat Dunni , the vice president alumni, who said she has witness many of good works of the government particularly youths empowerment across the states as women's are not left behind in the disbursement of money for their trading, she stressed that the governor has unprecedentedly transformed Kwara State with the massive infrastructural developments, such as roads, health and educational facilities, state secretariat annex, ultra-modern stadium, befitting conference centre with recreational facilities and most importantly, the newly established State Business hub Kwara State.

The IVTEC ALUMNI President prayed for Governor Abdulrahmam Abdulrasaq, as the returning candidate of the All Progressive Party (APC) Kwara State in the 2023 general election, as the kwaran Youths is solidly behind his second term bid, stressing: “The association which is the mother of all IVTEC Students wishes to inform you that we are ready to mobilise our members to support you massively as you prepare to take the second mantle of leadership in the state.

Qs Saliman Ahmed maintained they are confident that Governor Abdulrahmam Abdulrasaq, if elected as a Governor second term in 2023, will bring to bear his more wealth of experience as a ranking best governor in the effective discharge of Administrative duties to the benefit of Kwara State and the youths friendly.

Speaking further, The President while enumerating his remarkable achievements of the Management of Ivtec Ajase-Ipo, in particular, explained that the Rector has done massive interventions in his administration made in the IVTEC college, Ajase-Ipo, in spite of the challenges, were in keeping with the promises he made during in his appointment address in recent.

The President pointed out that among the greatest achievements of his administration were the disbursement of start up pack to the students of each departments, which his administration facilitated to improve the quality and gave the graduating students to be self employed in their respective community of the state, the tackling of the unemployment menace in the state through the provision of equipments to the students, which will be remembered forever, for life.

The Secretary of the alumni. Miss Banmeke Christianah Folashayo, also witnessed the event and expressed her sincere gratitute to IVTEC Rector, Engr.YARU S. SALIHU (MNSE, NIMechE, R.eng), the Registrar, Mr. LAWAL LATEEF (MNIM, MEMBER, ANUPA), the Bursar Mr. OLUSOLA ARANSIOLA (FCCA) and all the managements staff of this great and reputable international college for the gracious role played during the convocation ceremony of the 3rd Batch graduands.
She really appreciate this occasion and as a commadable ceremony so far since the establishment of the College, she also appreciate all the Obas in Igbomina land for their gracious support to this great college. May the Lord continue to bless you all.
