Some Nigerians have taken to Twitter to throw several jabs at the president, Muhammadu Buhari for his scheduled trip to the UK today.
Buhari will proceed to the United Kingdom for a private visit, the federal government announced on Thursday morning — This will be after he has commissioned “developmental projects especially in the sectors of education, healthcare and roadsâ€, in Maiduguri, Borno State.
Presidential spokesperson Femi Adesina said Buhari will be back in the country on May 5, but gave the details of the UK trip as ‘private’.
Well, Nigerians didn’t find the information attractive, as they immediately lashed out at the president for “proceeding on medical tourismâ€, in the name of “private visitâ€.
