The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have announced the release of the second batch of the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.
The board’s Head of Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin confirmed that the Board decided to release the result today, Tuesday March 20 after the meeting they held yesterday, Monday.
Benjamin also disclosed that no other result had been released after the first batch of over 300,000 results. He said that the board is working diligently to ensure that the results are processed and posted on the website soonest.
He stated that the board was delaying some of the results because each had to undergo total analysis before being posted on its website to avoid cancellations.
Dr. Benjamin said today’s result will be the second batch of the recently concluded UTME, which 1,662,762 candidates registered for. Benjamin added that the board had cancelled some Computer based test centres where CCTV cameras showed malpractices.
He said some candidates have been tensed up, since they have not been able to access their result. He advised that they should check the board website today for their results and the others should check back subsequently.
