Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, is prepared to wait until the January transfer window to make any further signings, according to ESPN.
Mourinho had previously targeted four new additions over the summer, but has been frustrated in his attempts to bring in Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan.
The Red Devils have already failed to land the player with two bids and latest reports claimed United executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, was close to meeting the £48million asking price for the Croatia winger.
However, it seems any deal for a wide man, will now have to be done next year, especially with Inter ready to offer the player an improved contract.
Mourinho admitted last Friday that only 75 per cent of his transfer targets have been delivered – Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Vidic and Victor Lindelof.
