The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that candidates can now pay for the ePIN for 2017 UTME registration using Remita platform.
According to JAMB in a statement release by the Head of Media, Dr Fabian, this development is due to the challenges faced by candidates in acquiring the ePIN form banks and NIPOST.
“We appreciate the fact that the sales of the UTME for 2017 which is hitherto set to last for six has been reduced to one month.
“This was done in the interest of the candidates as it was to ensure that the challenges candidates are going through are resolved.
“To further cushion the effect of these challenges, we have decided to bring the Remitta mode on board.
“Candidates can now purchase the pin for registration from the comfort of their homes.
“So, aside the banks and NIPOST, candidates can now purchase the pins through Remita,’’ Benjamin said in a statement..
The statement further advised candidates not to panic as every eligible candidate desirous of registering will do so before the closing date of April 19.
To make payment via Remita, follow the steps below;
-Visit http://jamb.org.ng/eFacility/Login
-Login using your email address and password
-Click on the "Sales of form" at the left hand side of the page and select UTME Examination."
