A woman who was heading to the hospital for delivery and boarded a commercial bus, allegedly gave birth to a baby boy inside the popular BRT bus in Lagos.



A woman who is heading to a hospital believed to be at Iyana-Ipaja and boarded the popular BRT bus at Irawo bus-stop in Lagos, have given birth to a baby boy inside the bus on Wednesday morning around 9am along Mile 12/ Ketu axis in the Lagos metropolis.

Speaking to a correspondent, some eyewitnesses, revealed that the woman became uncomfortable immediately after boarding, and she was assisted by other passengers on board while she went into labour.



In an orderly fashion, all male passengers were trans-loaded into another bus at Ketu bus-stop while she was attended to.

The heavily pregnant passenger successfully gave birth to a healthy baby boy and was dropped off at a nearby standard maternity clinic for proper catering.
