Former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar of the APC, has been pictured exchanging pleasantries with his rival, Gov. Ayo Fayose of the PDP, and Rauf Aregbesola of the APC.
According to photos posted on Twitter by Lere Olayinka, the Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Public Communications and New Media, former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, was seen exchanging pleasantries with Governor Ayo Fayose, and Governor Rauf Aregbesola, of Osun state, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Wednesday.
Outspoken PDP chieftain, Fayose and APC politician, Aregbesola, have been seen together publicly in recent times, but the meeting with the former vice president of the nation is one of its kind as the politicians were seen holding hands, and laughing.
Since there are lots of speculations about 2019, could the politicians be thinking of an alliance? Though Atiku has not declared his interest to contest the next presidential election, but tongues are already wagging that the influential businessman would take another shot at the highest office in the land, after several unsuccessful attempts.
