The long standing cold war between two of Nigeria’s leading fuji musicians King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (K1) and Alhaji (Dr.) Sefiu Alao (Agbara Orin) may have ended.

For those who don’t know, their beef started a while back when Sefiu Alao released a live video CD titled ‘ Oba Mewa‘ where he analysed the origin of the endless conflicts among Fuji artistes and went ahead to call out the name of K1 as one of the major architects of the fights.

The move infuriated K1 who has since ignored and stayed away from Sefiu, until now.



That’s after the duo ran into each other at the wedding ceremony of one of their big mutual fan, Sulaiman Omidina otherwise called Sule Yoboro‘s daughter’s wedding in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Friday October 28, 2016.

The society wedding which took place in an expansive marquee within Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) had K1 as the artiste on the band stand, while Sefiu Alao was there as a long-time friend of the bride’s father.



At the wedding, K1 and Sefiu Alao exchanged very warm greetings and even posed for photographs together, a move in the fuji world that signifies the end of a fight.
