At times some manageable circumstances need to get very ugly before they get better and this may describe the fate of banned Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau.
Suspended Hausa actress, Rahama Sadau is set to feature in Hollywood as Akon and Jeta Amata have invited her to visit their film set in Los Angeles, California, where they are working on a project.
She was invited by the duo who are currently working on a project which will take them to Senegal, South Africa and Nigeria in December.
Jeta Amata is an award winning Nigerian film maker, based in Los Angeles, California - United States of America. He comes from a family of successful film makers and has worked with countless A-list actors. He has worked tirelessly to create a fusion between American and African cinema.
Since the announcement that Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, MOPPAN has placed a ban on Rahama Sadau for her ‘unpleasant’ role in a music video, the incident has elicited reactions from several quarters, with many voicing their support for the Hausa actress.
Those voices have been joined by American-born singer and entrepreneur, Akon, who has lent his support for Rahama by inviting her to a film set in Los Angeles, California.
The project is in collaboration with renowned Nigerian film-maker, Jeta Amata who also expressed his excitement at teaming with the actress.
