The Ondo gubernatorial race within the ranks of the All Progressives Congress seems to have gone openly spiritual with fetish materials being placed at the office gate.
Some aggrieved members of All Progressives Congress in Ondo state have turned the party’s Secretariat in the state into a shrine with gory fetish materials being steadily planted at the secretariat at the wee hours of the day.
The party members are at logger heads over who would be their governorship candidate in the state’s gubernatorial election come November 26th.
APC national party leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was accused of thwarting the democratic process by trying to impose a gubernatorial aspirant, Olusegun Abraham ahead of the party’s primary election.
A mind-boggling number of 50 aspirants showed interest in the governorship position but only half of that number purchased the party’s nomination forms. A former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN who failed in his bid to be governor in the year 2012 is also in the race with so much optimism about his success this time around.
