Manchester United boss , Jose Mourinho , has confirmed that Paul Pogba is close to signing for the club.



The club had issued a statement before their Community Shield win over Leicester City , that the France midfielder had been given permission to undergo a medical by Juventus .

And after the game , Mourinho told reporters that a deal was as good as done .

“ Finally , we have him . He comes to a winning side , ” he said.

Mourinho also added that he expects the medical to be a formality.

“ I have seen him running , basketball, he does everything , so he must be fit . I will be waiting on Tuesday , ” he concluded.

Sky sources claim tthe fee for Pogba, will be around € 105 m – £ 89 m – £3 m more than Real Madrid paid for Gareth Bale and therefore a new world record.
