Militant group Niger Delta Avengers
says it has blown up oil pipelines in
Bayelsa and Rivers states.

Popular militant group, Niger Delta
Avengers, has announced on its
official website, that it has blown
up oil pipelines in Bayelsa and
Rivers states in fresh attacks which
were carried out between 3:00am
and 5:00am on Friday, July 8.

Below is the statement:-

“At about the of 3am to 5am the
Niger Delta Avengers blowup
Nembe 1, 2, 3 and Tebedaba brass
trunk-line in Bayelsa/River States.

“We still using this medium to
warn the general public of
impostors Facebook accounts. Niger
Delta Avenger is not in Social
network anymore.

Desmond Agwu, the spokesperson
of the Nigeria security and civil
defence corps (NSCDC) confirmed
one of the attacks, saying suspected
militants attacked an oil pipeline at
Lasukugbene, belonging to Agip, a
Nigerian oil company, in Rivers
state.

He further disclosed that officials of
the NSCDC engaged the militants in
a gun battle after the attack on the
oil installation.
