Gunmen have kidnapped the Chief
Accountant of the Federal Medical
Centre, Owo, Ondo State, Kayode
Asaju. According to Family sources,
Asaju, was kidnapped along the
Lokoja-Abuja Road on Sunday June
26th as he was traveling to the
Federal Capital Territory for an
official assignment.

His abductors have reached out to
his family members and are
demanding a N5 million ransom.

Meanwhile the Ondo state Police
Public Relations Officer, Femi
Joseph, confirmed the incident and
stated that efforts are being made
in partnership with the Kogi state
police command to ensure his
release.
