Wow this trick is working again, here is a new offer with which you can send as many sms as you like without paying Kobo. But it should be noted that the recepient of that message must be an MTN customer, i.e the number you are sending the message to has to be an MTN number.

How to send text messages or sms free on mtn Sim

Go to your phone’s message box and type your message, then add 38708 before the receiver’s phone number!

e.g 3870808064312405 or
3870807066655447
Then write you message and send.

That’s all.. You’ll get a successful message that your message has been sent and 0.00 was charged from your account. I have tested it my self and confirmed it working…

With the above method, you have successfully send free text message without credit/recharge card.
