The General Overseer of the
Redeemed Christian Church of God,
RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye,
fondly called Daddy GO, has
informed those looking up to the
present government to make
changes in their lives that
government is helpless without the
help of God.
Ministering on the theme “No More
Delay†with special prayers for the
youth, mature singles and their
families and those who have
suffered delay in careers,
promotion and child bearing at the
RCCG Headquarters in Lagos, he
advised youths to depend on God
and always seek the face of the
Almighty before embarking on any
project despite the harsh economic
condition.
Daddy GO, who spoke through his
Special Assistant on Admin and
Personnel, Pastor Johnson Odesola
said, “No matter the situation in
the country, the youth should seek
the face of God who promises to
supply all the needs of those who
wait on Him irrespective of
prevailing situation or
circumstance.â€
He continued, “The government
everybody is looking unto to make
changes is helpless too without the
help of God because the power to
turn things around is not in the
hands of those running the
government but in the hands of
God Himself.
“This is the reason everybody,
including the youth should seek the
face of God for better days to come.
â€He called on the young ones to be
skillful, learn a trade and engage in
entrepreneurship instead of
waiting for the government to
provide jobs.
“At a period like this when there is
problem of unemployment, youths
should endeavor to be creative
because solving problems actually
brings creativity.
The youths and every Nigerian
realize that there is no short-cut to
breakthrough and success,â€
Adeboye said.
