The People’s Democratic Part (PDP) in
a series of tweets via their official
handle claimed President Buhari’s
wife, Mrs Aisha Buhari got a
whooping $22million from CBN and
resold it for profit.

The handle also alleged that President
Buhari’s special assistant on media
and publicity, Garba Shehu got
$800,000 from CBN and resold it for
profit as well.

PDP alleged that they the forex at the
rate of N185, and resold it for N350 on
the same day.

Garba Shehu has since responded to
claims by PDP twitter handle that he
made Forex purchase of $800,000
from CBN. He added that he’d launch
a defamation suit against the person
behind the PDP twitter handle if he
finds out who they are. Read his
