groups, Dangote, has indicated interest
in building a cement factory in Guyuk
local government area of Adamawa
state.
The plan was revealed yesterday when
the management of the company led by
Engr Joseph Makujo paid a courtesy
call on Adamawa state Governor, Sen
Bindow Jibrilla at government house
Yola.
Engineer Makujo said the company was
in the state on the invitation of Gov
Bindow Jibrilla, who has made the state
conducive for investors.
The group said the cement factory, if
completed will create more than 10,000
job opportunities in the state.
Governor Bindow told the visiting
group that the state is willing to
encourage investors to create job
opportunities and increase the state
revenue.
