The France international opened the scoring, taking advantage of some slack marking to head home Mesut Ozil’s corner and score the 2,000th goal of Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal reign after 49 minutes. Koscielny then added a second, in controversial fashion, rolling the ball into an empty net after Lukasz Fabianski had spilled a cross after colliding with the defender. While Swansea protested the decision there were no arguments about the third goal, Campbell curling past Fabianski after great combination play between Alexis Sanchez and Ozil, for his first Premier League goal.
